Exousia

So many pagan religions are bereft of written history or ritual, our ancient ancestors left very little behind for clues as to what their spiritual beliefs were. Catholicism, the religion of my dear departed mother, is rich in lore and of course, scripture. It had always been shrouded in mystery in my youth, as Dad was a protestant and so that's where I went to church. Now that I've done some reading, I find it quite fascinating. There are various classes of angels, for example. 
This is a Dark Angel, commonly known as "Powers" or "Authorities" from the Greek 'exousiai', from the second sphere of angelology.
They oppose evil spirits, are the bearers of conscience and the keepers of history.
